“Supernatural” is the only thing worth watching from The CW. It’s the one thing that The CW can be proud of. I’m not really sure why “Supernatural” is in The CW. Gad, I miss WB. It’s not “Gossip Girl”. It’s not “One Tree Hill”. Personally, I think “Smallville” should have ended 3 seasons ago. That, by the way, is my subtle way of saying that “Supernatural” should not have a 6th season.
I know I’m gonna get killed for saying died, but at least I died telling THE TRUTH. Remember how “Veronica Mars” got murdered after the UPN-WB merge? Yes. Exactly.
Errr. Wait. I don’t know where to begin.
Obviously, I’ve just finished watching the 4th season of “Supernatural”. It’s not like “LOST” where I need to have it piece by piece. I enjoy watching “Supernatural” in one big, fat serving. Although, these two shows ended their seasons with a common denominator: black text on a blinding white background.
(Please, oh, please, let those two shows end with a blast next TV season.)
First of all, I have to pay my respects to Kim Manners who died last January due to lung cancer. Mr. Manners is like the Jack Bender of “Lost”. I know Robert Singer will keep Manners’ spirit alive.
The thing I loved the most about season 4 is the Angels. For 3 seasons, it’s only been about Ruby, Lilith, and Azazel – just demons. So, when the Angels came I knew it’s going to be one hell of a season. Duh, they ripped Dean from Hell without the claw marks from the Hellhounds. What more do you want?
Then there’s Chuck Shurley, the guy who wrote “Supernatural” pocketbook series. It turned out that this Chuck guy is a PROPHET.
Angels and Prophets. How awesome is that?
Castiel, played by the effortless Misha Collins, was one of those very few new characters that worked and I have placed him beside Benjamin Linus in my books. There’s Anna, Dean’s Angel Girlfriend of some sort, but there’s not much of Anna. Know what I mean? We need both them next season. And Zachariah.
Then, there’s Ruby. I like Ruby. Ruby was kick-ass last season. However, you have to take note that Ruby was played by Katie Cassidy last season. Genevieve Cortese was just… WRONG in every way possible. Heck, Lilith in her woman garb and baby eating ways was more likeable than Ruby and I hate Lilith.
Months ago, I think I made a fuss about a third Winchester brother. Yes, there, er, was a third Winchester brother. He was NOT hot. And technically, Adam Milligan was already dead when the boys met him. Seriously, it wouldn’t have worked if they kept him around.
I must admit, it got a little religious and self-righteous and all, but it was still in line to the show’s theme.
It wasn’t surprising that Sam crossed over to the Dark Side and Dean being the Good Guy. Sam was sucking Ruby’s blood and it got addicting for him so Dean and Bobby staged an intervention. Dean, who had hot sex with a hot Angel on the back of the hot Impala, was destined to stop Lucifer. I suddenly pictured a sort of Dean Winchester-Jack Bauer smackdown.
Dude, I swear, this show is bloodier and gorier than “Dexter”.
(Need to start my own Alpha Male Madness. I’m already thinking of a showdown between Peter Bishop and Dexter Morgan)
I love that “Supernatural” knows when to tell its entire story and when to take a break and be episodic. They know when to make fun of the Winchester. I love the Dean and Sam from High school flashback. I love the Mary and John flashback. I love “Criss Angel is a Douchebag”!
I equate Smokey of “LOST” to the Black Demon Smoke of “Supernatural”.
From Lazarus Rizing to Lucifer Rising – Kripke is awesome.

I also saw the 7 episode of “Southland”. It’s the sow that reunited Ryan Atwood and Oliver Trask. Isn’t that cool?
It was a lot bearable for me than “NCIS”. They got the pairings right, they placed the pairings in the right unit/division.

Now, I’m out of shows to watch. Well, that’s not true. I’m out of shows that I want to watch. There’s just no point of watching “Grey’s Anatomy” or “Ugly Betty” anymore. I’m happy with just 5 shows:
Supernatural
The Office
Dexter
Fringe, and, of course
LOST
I don’t think I want to go back to “Dawson’s Creek”. It’s not fun for me anymore.
Good thing Judith and I have some hunting to do tomorrow.
